Pomegranate jewelry workshop package

An enchanting “wonderfruit”, the pomegranate has been my inspiration for the upcoming online workshop. The pomegranate’s shape, wonderful colours, gemstone-like seeds inside as structural forms, together with the pomegranate’s cross-cultural symbolic quality offer rich sources of inspiration for the creative minds – and hands. At this workshop I’ll show you how to create your own set of jewelry, a brooch and a necklace that are inspired by this wonderfruit…

What will you learn at this course?

-Making a brooch and necklace inspired by the pomegranate
-Making the multi-layered pomegranate shape
-Using the tiniest pebbles in felted jewelry – as the pomegranate’s seeds
-Laying the wool for a gradient effect
-Wrapping a steel wire necklace base in wool, then building the pomegranate “pendant” on top of it
-Possibilities of shaping
